Abstract

This research discusses strategies for improving teachers' teaching skills in learning Islamic Cultural History through a library study approach. The main focus is to identify effective steps that teachers can implement to create learning that is interactive, meaningful and relevant to student needs. In learning Islamic Cultural History, teaching skills are very important to arouse students' interest and understanding of Islamic historical and cultural values. Through literature analysis, several key strategies were discovered. First, the application of active learning methods that involve students directly, such as group discussions, historical simulations and role playing. Second, the use of innovative learning media, including digital technology, to enrich the presentation of material. Third, continuous training for teachers to update their knowledge and skills in accordance with developments in curriculum and pedagogy. Apart from that, strengthening the contextual approach is an effective strategy, where the Islamic Cultural History material is linked to students' daily lives. This research shows that these strategies are able to improve the quality of learning and teachers' teaching skills, as well as encouraging the creation of an inspiring and effective learning environment. This literature study provides a conceptual basis for the development of training programs and educational policies that support increasing teacher competency in learning Islamic Cultural History.
